Least Common Multiple

We did a brief review sheet on prime factorization and then a mini lesson on greatest common multiple. Students need to remember that multiples are the same as skip counting. There are many things due tomorrow please make sure to check with your child for these assignments:

Greatest Common Factor

Today we learned how to compare factors. Students worked on the concept of greatest common factors. This will set them up for reducin fractions. We started worksheet #10 in class and it is to be completed for homework.

Crazy Week

My apologies for not posting last week. I had a family emergency and was out of school much of the week, posting was the last thing in my mind. I am pleased to say things have settled greatly and we are back on schedule with school. Due to the fact that I was not able to precorrect the sunshine math II papers I have extended the assignment until this thursday. Below is a list of the topics the students did cover last week:
